Sensei Oskar Szrajer - 5th Dan Aikido Aikikai

Sensei Oskar Szrajer was born on March 1, 1984, in Gdynia. He is one of the founders of Sesshinkan Dojo and a long-time instructor of the Polish Aikido Organization.
The Beginning of the Path
He began his adventure with Aikido in 1999 at the age of 15 at Wadokan Dojo in Gdynia, where he trained under Sensei Tomasz Tyszka. There he met Jacek Ostrowski and many other aikidokas with whom he shared his first steps on the tatami. From the beginning, he developed his technique and understanding of Aikido philosophy.
Founding Sesshinkan Dojo
In 2003, together with Sensei Jacek Ostrowski and Sławomir Orłowski, he founded Sesshinkan Dojo at the Military Sports Club "FLOTA" and Naval Academy in Gdynia. The dojo became an important Aikido training center in Poland, continuing the tradition of Shihan Fumio Toyoda.
Development and Training
Sensei Szrajer regularly participates in seminars and training sessions led by leading Aikido instructors. Particularly important in his development was cooperation with Sensei Edward Petkov Germanov - President of the Bulgarian Aikido Association and representative of the Toyoda family.
Thanks to many years of leadership and friendship with Sensei Jacek Ostrowski, he learned not only Aikido, but various forms of Ju Jitsu/Ju Jutsu as well as self-defense/combat techniques. Meeting the greatest masters from Poland and abroad on his path, enriching his Aikido style with numerous influences from various martial arts.
Achievements
In January 2023, Sensei Oskar Szrajer was promoted to the rank of 5th dan Aikido Aikikai, which is confirmation of his many years of commitment and mastery in the art of Aikido.
He holds the following ranks:
- Aikido Aikikai - 5th dan (since January 2023)
- Hakko Denshin-ryu Jujutsu - 1st dan
Instructional Activity
Sensei Szrajer conducts regular classes at Sesshinkan Dojo in Gdynia. His teaching is characterized by technical precision and attention to conveying not only the physical aspects, but also the spiritual and philosophical aspects of Aikido.
He actively participates in the life of the Polish Aikido Organization, conducting seminars and supporting the development of younger adepts of the art.
