🥋 Who it is for

For beginners, people returning to movement after a break, and practitioners looking for a traditional dojo without competitive pressure.

🎁 Start

The first class is free. To begin, comfortable sportswear is enough.

What do Aikido classes in Gdynia look like?

Our Aikido classes in Gdynia combine traditional methodology with a practical, calm introduction. Training includes a warm-up, learning how to move, ukemi, basic techniques and paired work. This is not a hall oriented around sparring or sports rivalry. The priorities are technique, safety, regularity and development.

1

Arrive early

Ideally 10-15 minutes before class. That is enough to calmly walk in, change and learn the dojo rules.

2

Train from zero

Beginners do not need to know anything. The first class is an introduction, not a fitness or knowledge test.

3

Decide after class

After training you can ask about the further plan, fees and next steps - with no pressure and no obligations.

Who are the classes for?

✅ For beginners

If you have never trained a martial art before, you can start from zero.

✅ For adults

The evening schedule and the calm pace of entry suit working people well.

✅ For people looking for self-defence without the sports framing

Aikido develops control, timing, balance and work under pressure, without competitions or a sparring-based training model.

✅ For people who want to train long-term

This is not a quick-fix programme. It is a practice you can develop for years.

Key pages before you decide

If you want to look at training more broadly than just schedule and organisation, read also our articles: who is aikido for, is aikido worth practicing and aikido at every age. They complement the practical information on this page well.
